Vocational Education: Students at Colbún’s Ignacio Carrera Pinto High School Earn Key Certification to Help Them Enter the Workforce

Seven students from the Liceo Ignacio Carrera Pinto in Colbún obtained the Class D Electrical Installer Certification thanks to a public-private partnership led by Colbún S.A., marking a concrete milestone in youth employability and local technical training.

For the third consecutive year, the Itaú Santiago Marathon will be carbon neutral thanks to Colbún, which will offset the event's emissions using carbon credits from its renewable energy plants — an initiative that in previous editions was equivalent to planting 65,000 trees or removing 1,800 cars from circulation.

More than 200 people associated with the energy industry—including government officials, academics, and representatives from the private sector—attended the seminar “Regulatory Challenges in Energy 2026–2030,” held at the main campus of the Catholic University.
