Inspired in experiences of countries such as Switzerland and New Zealand, just a decade ago Colbún started to promote the perception that power generation reservoirs could represent a source of value added to the communities through the development of tourist projects. The Angostura Park in the Biobío Region and the Machicura Resort in the Maule Region embrace this vision.
